Is community supervision, whereby a private company does probation services for a local court, constitutional
I was arrested for driving while license suspended, registration suspended, no insurance and possession of marijuana less than 1oz., for which the judge sentenced me to 3200 in fines 2 days in jail and 80 hours community service. Because I did not have the money for my fines he placed me on 3 years probation the first year to be supervised by a local community supervision company, whereby the only supervision I received was to take a full day off work to come into the office pay my monthly payment, make my next appointment and leave, during my second month of "Supervision" I failed the first urinalysis and was subsequently put under a 30 day suspension which consisted of 30 days in jail, graciously permitted by the court to be served in 48 hour weekly increments. I'm not sure if this violates my rights but I sure feel violated
You were on probation, failed a piss test, and were punished for it. Probation is not supposed to be an enjoyable...

I was recently arrested for DUI in Georgia and am unsure if it is first offense or second offense.
I have a previous DUI arrest but the outcome was a reckless driving conviction.
So it would be your first offense. But given your prior arrest, prosecutor is not going to go as lightly on you.
I had a DUI in 1986 just got one on the 27th of November 2014 will they go back to 86 and count that one? (In Georgia)
I have severe panic disorder, a colostomy, neuropathy, deteriated discs and am disabled on 8different meds. Am I looking at more jail time?
Georgia has 3 look back periods when it comes to DUI: 5 years, 10 years, and lifetime. Lifetime is the least serious...
A doc. signed under duress,? ( intoxicated, and misled,) how do i begin the process of trying to reverse it?
"joint tenacy with survivorship (not as tennants in common)" warranty deed , no $ owed on property, person not sure exactly what they signed at this attorneys office, but knows it took them off the deed because as soon as it was signed , said person was handed a notice to vacate the property (already typed and ready by same attorney. which seems a little unethical!) given 60 days or face eviction proceedings.
You begin the process by hiring a litigation lawyer who can figure out what happened.
My soon to b ex husband came home drunk and tore my home to pieces 3counts battery, criminal trespassing and cruelty to children
I hand to call the law about 2 weeks prior for him tearing my stuff up and he's done it a lot too much to the point I'm walking away

What are the consequences for being kicked out of the diversion program for forgetting to call and check in with probation?
I was arrested for underage consumption in Kennesaw, GA back and went to court on August 27th and was placed on the diversion program. On the 27th I was asked to take a drug test and passed it and they allowed me to mail in all of my requirements because I went to an out-of-state college and I was required to send in drug screening results on the 15th of each month that I was still in the program. They scheduled me to call probation and check in with them on September 30 and I played phone tag with the probation office a week prior to that and never got through to anyone. My mother received a letter in the mail a couple days ago saying I was kicked out of the program and would have to return to court. What will most likely happen when I return to court?
The judge in kennesaw is very firm. I would not advise going in front of him without an attorney. And certainly do...
