Walter Alexander Alfaro, 28, of the Richmond area was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 on a charge of Murder. A bond of $50,000 was set on the case, which is out of Harris County. Comment?

The arrest of a 29-year-old Houston man will enable Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office investigators to clear several cases of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, all committed in the Katy area. At this point the perpetrator, Caleb Kidd, faces four charges of theft, but his arrest will enable detectives to clear eight different cases, all committed since Jan. 1, 2016. Comment?

As we reported Wednesday, 28-year-old Matthew Alan Putterman was apprehended at the Canadian border and charged with failing to render aid in the death of Michael Alex Hill, 21, a beloved resident of the city's Montrose gayborhood who was cut down while crossing the street on his way to meet friends Jan. 8. However, authorities dropped the charge on Thursday, saying Putterman has an alibi in the form of surveillance video from his parents' business showing that his vehicle wasn't damaged on the day after Hill was killed, according to The Houston Chronicle . Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, a Clay County Deputy, made a traffic stop on a car that was speeding 96 mph on 287. Twenty one year old Derrick Trujillo of Katy Texas was arrested and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Control Substance and two counts of Possession. Comment?
