If I was had two misdemeanors as a juvenile (marijuana/ did probation) and a recent DUI are they considered a conviction?
I am applying to Nursing school and the question asks ) "Have you been convicted of a felony/misdemeanor (excluding minor traffic violations)?" I did probation as a juvenile and it has been around 5 years since, but I have yet to expunge them. I recently got a DUI and am halfway through my 12 month diversion. Do I have to say I was convicted of these crime? That is if I get my juvenile charges expunged or since I am on diversion for DUI and it will be dismissed after completion.
In Kansas juveniles are not "convicted" they are "adjudicted." If you have been placed on diversion and that diversion...
What are typical conditions of a diversion program in Johnson County, Kansas? & is there any way my lawyer can negotiate them?
I was arrested for possession of marijuana & paraphernalia. I am seeking diversion, as I have no prior criminal history of any sort. I attend college full time an hour away from Johnson County. I've heard that random urinary analyses are mandatory as a stipulation of their diversion. I have not signed a contract yet & I'm wondering if there is a way to negotiate the "random" part of the UA? I don't mind giving them UA's. Time is the biggest concern. I have tested negative for marijuana (& anything else) on all of the pre-drug tests they have asked for. I have completed their requested evaluation & I've completed the class that was suggested. I'm worried that since I have class+plus labs, from 8am-5pm, 4x/week (w/no more than 50min. between each), since their testing facility is an hour away/UA's random (I'd need at LEAST 2 hours to get there & back), that I will either have to skip 2+ classes (not ideal -I'd really like a degree), or I'd have to skip the UA & risk getting kicked off diversion (also not ideal -I'd really like a job after I graduate). I sincerely want to please the courts & satisfy the terms set, but I have no idea what to do about this!! Any advice???

Reinstatement of License after 180-day IID
I am a Texas resident with a Texas license living temporarily in Kansas. Following a first time DUI arrest on a completely clean record, Kansas requires an initial 30 day suspension followed by 180 days of only driving a vehicle with an IID installed. The original out of state Texas driver's license was taken obviously because of the law. The criminal charges are being set aside to complete a diversion program. My question is whether that original license will be returned to me after the IID period is over? What steps will have to be taken following the ending of the 6 month restriction. Thank you.
When your license is taken by law enforcement after your arrest for DUI in Kansas it is sent to the Kansas Department...

My husband has a restricted drivers license due to a dui, can he wait another year without an interlock and get a license?
My husband has had 1 DUI. He got suspended for a year and is now in a restricted license. We haven't been able to get him a vehicle to put the interlock in. But when we check the status of his license it says he's restricted and must have the interlock but he has a fulfillment date of October 2015. Can he just wait til the end of the date and get a normal license again without getting the interlock system? Or will he have to get an interlock no matter what? Thanks for the help!
I am not licensed in Kansas, but this question comes up quite a bit in California, where I am licensed. Usually, a...
How can I find out someones criminal record? If he has two DUIs in different counties in Kansas and a child endangerment charge
I have to go to court because I filed for contempt on a child support order. My son's father lost his 1s job from a DUI and he had my son in the vehicle and got a child endangerment charge. Six years later he wrecks a company van and a urine test reveals marijuana. How can I get a copy of these charges? Is this something I can use in court against him? He always under reports his income when I file a change of circumstances so I am filing to get reimbursed for the medical and dental and percentage that he is responsible for. What exactly is the poverty adjustment on the worksheet referring to?
You need to hire a family law attorney to help you represent this. That or you could hire an investigator.
Is it possible to decrease the restricted driving period of 2 yrs with Ignition interlock device on a first DUI offense.
This is after completing 1 yr of license suspension on a first DUI charge and completing Diversion monitoring for a yr. I had refused to provide breathlizer sample leading to this arrangement.
