I got a dui 3 years ago and they would not reschedule my court date when my car broke down. I have been poor since...
This happened in Jefferson County, Colorado. I have barely been able to make ends meet since then so I have not been able to address the problem and I received no paperwork. I need to know what to do? I need a license if I am ever going to have a life again.
Your first concern is that you have an outstanding bench warrant for your arrest. This is not going away. Furthermore,...
The night I was arrested for dui the police informed me that the jail was too full and left me at a hospital. Is this relevant?
At the hospital, they told me they could not hold me, but every time I moved towards the door someone larger than me blocked my exit. They followed me when I used the restroom and I had to ask. Finally in the morning I convinced them to call me a cab, and spent my last pennies going to the wrong impound lot (the hospital told me my jeep was there). I had to hitchike to the right lot, and finally received my $400 hospital bill a month later for ? I had specifically asked hospital staff not to touch me.
Is this relevant to what? Relevance is not a concept which stands alone; it inherently concerns the relationship...

How can an alleged speeding be turned into a dui refusal after in custody with no proof. Any help?
Pulled over for alleged speeding, taken in on a $50 fta warrant. Next morning charged with dui. No roadside offered no refusal offered no signed refusal, no blood or breathalyzer test. Officer said he smelled odor of unknown alcohol.
Officers can charge whatever they believe they have probable cause for. However, it sounds as though there isn't much...
What should I do if I've done everything with my DUI except the Alcohol Class?
So, 4 years ago, almost to the day, I got a DUI. I paid all my fines, did all my community service, probabtion completed without a problem but I work a very demanding schedule and I move around constantly, (I work for a highway road construction company) and I haven't completed my alcohol classes. For almost 2 years I was with warrant and never had an issue. Since then I've gotten older and more mature and want to clear my name but I have court coming up in a month and still have something like 27 classes to complete.
Assuming you have a pending complaint to revoke your probation and still have 27 classes remaining after not completing...
How can I defend myself against a DUID for marijuana while I hold a Medical Card in the state of Colorado?
My trial is Wednesday and my public defender hasn't done much to help - My blood nanogram was 16 (three times past the legal limit). However, truth is I wasn't smoking anytime recent to getting behind the wheel and/or consumed mmj in any form. I was not impaired by any means as I am used to the effects. Research says blood test of THC is not a accurate way to test intoxicity. (Can this be proved in court?)
Whether you have a medical marijuana card has zero impact on the trial without an expert to testify that people who...
I agreed to take a misdemeanor plea deal with no heavy drinking. Can my PO cross off one of the terms and make me initial?
I agreed to the terms of DM classes and no heavy drinking because I usually just have a 40oz after work. But on my 1st visit with PO she crossed off the drinking part and wrote ZERO Alcohol and made me initial then in addition to DM class she added Alcohol/drug abuse classes and tests me 3 times a week or more and I've had to pay for 50 class for that and pay 3-4 times for US/weekly. Now they are trying to revoke my probation for violation on the first day she met me and crossed out she had me do UA and I had alcohol. I don't get it.
Probation officers are given wide latitude when assigning conditions of probation,. The remedy to this is the judge....
