I got a DUI on 01/01/2015. Can I drive out of state for my grandson's graduation in June 2016 and meet my new great grandchild?
I got a DUI for the first time in my life on 01/01/2015 at the age of 63. I was not drunk. I would never drive if I was. I still have not gone to court yet. I will need to travel out of state in June 2016 to go to my grandson's high school graduation and meet my new great grandchild. Do I have to stay in SC until I go to court? I don't even know if I will be going to court. When will I know if I even have to go to court being it is my first time?

my husband has been in 3 different rehabs in a years time. we were separated 5 and a half months. he came back for 2 weeks and now is seeing someone. I have pictures of them kissing and together.. we have only been married 2 years. He has left for a month here and there 3 times before the 5 and a half months. Has lived in Florida and now Spartanburg sc. I don't have money for an attorney. can I go on my own or do I have to have an attorney. how do I prove habitual drunk. we have been separated this time for 2 months. I was hoping to not have to wait the year sc requires.
The entire year last year his income was only about $6000 due to being in rehabs and getting fired.
there are also medical bills from where he was hospitalized due to being intoxicated.
Yes, you need a lawyer. Given the complexities of a contested fault based divorce, you have no chance for a successful...
I was hit by a drunk driver and he totaled my car. He has no insurance. I wasn't hurt bad. How can I sue him personally?
A drunk driver hit me and totaled my car. I nor my daughter was injured too bad. He hit us and ran, later arrested. He had no insurance. How can I sue him personally for all the aggravation, I've gone through trying to get a rental car and all the other crap an innocent driver has to do not to mention the hurt that he did cause, even though, thank goodness it was minimal, since I don't have the money up front for a lawyer. Can you tell me where I can find one? He's out now on bond and still has his truck. I have contacted several lawyers but the ones I've found only deal with you if you're been hurt bad!!!!!
You can bring a claim against the other driver in small claims court. Also you should have available to you medical...
At 0.04 Was charged with DUI, License not taken. Can I still drive?
To get straight to the point I was pulled over about 3 months ago and arrested for suspicion of DUI, despite the fact that I passed the field test. Shortly thereafter I took a BAC test that read 0.04. I also submitted to a drug test (of which I'm certain that it will not yield results of any sort of drug use). I have already been to court to plead not guilty. My license was never confiscated at any time before or after the arrest. I also never received paperwork telling me that my license was under suspension. My lawyer plans to file a dismissal once my drug test results come in. Though I was informed that would take 3-6 weeks to process my urine analysis, it is now going on 13 weeks. I haven't driven at all since the arrest to be cautious, but can I still legally drive?
Your attorney should be able to answer this for you, but nothing you've written should have resulted in the loss of...
