DUI charge and they took my blood.
On July 4 I got pulled over and arrested for DUI. I guess I forgot about what my parents always said about nothing good happens after midnight. I left my brother-in-law's house and decided to drive home and hour and a half away at 10:30 PM. I was pulled over for doing 5 miles over the speed limit allegedly. To be honest I was very tired....I was VAPing ( e-cigarette )up a storm to help stay awake. Needless to say when the officer came up to my window and I rolled it down he was met by big cloud of vapor smoke. I explained to him that I was super tired that I had not been drinking that night. He confiscated my e-cigarette and said that he thought I was impaired from some type of drug. He kept commenting about how there was drugs I guess THC in my Vape which there was not. I honestly was not impaired I was just tired. My problem is is the day before at a party I may have per took in a little coke....(which I never do). They sent my blood to be tested and they found no alcohol in it, now they are saying they are sending the sample back and testing it for drugs. Can I show some how that just because I may have something in my system it was not affecting me at the time.
