Are you able to use a suspended imposition on your second dui in Minnesota?
I have gotten a previous dui 3 years ago and just got charged with my second last Sunday.just looking to see if it is possible to use a suspended imposition here. Thanks.
What do you mean by suspended imposition? You’re thinking you want probation instead of jail time? It will be difficult....
Why did I have to take a dot drug test when I didn't get in an accident involving any vehicles.
I hurt my back pulling a pallet jack that was stuck inside of a pallet. I have a cdl. It was on a Tuesday. I reported it on Thursday. It was at least 40 hrs. Afterwards. I told my boss I was going to get checked out. I told him I did not want to go thru workmans comp. I was forced to. No way around it. I had to take a drug test for this which was a dot post accident test. I failed the test and my company fired me. The company said it was there policy so they had to. I read there policy and it says they can for terminate you or discipline or seek rehabilitation for you. Nowhere does it say 0 tolerance drug mandate. I also had 140 hrs of vacation that I earned. They do not want to pay me for. If you read anything you see to help me with certain things I have more questions and details
This is really an employment law question so you should direct your question to that area. Unless you have a criminal...

My wife was honest with the doctor and the cps worker about the pot use. what can we do and should we be worried?
CPS can request someone take a test, but can not force someone to without a court Order. However, the less cooperative a...
What can we do to get the DWI plates off our vehicle?
My husband received his 4th DWI, 8 YEARS ago! Long before we met. He has not driven in all those years due to having his license suspended. Why do I have to endure the embarrassment of having to tote around wiskey plates on my vehicle?! Is there anything I can do, since this is not my offence and it has been so long ago?
Whiskey plates will go onto any vehicle he is titled on or even shared title. From what you have written, there could...
Applying for a job with pending DWI in Minnesota?
Hello, Firstly, I want to thank you for reading this topic and appreciate your feedback because it means a lot to me. Secondly, I want to seek for advices from all the attorneys. I was arrested for my first DWI at 0.14 BAC after 15 years of driving with previous spot clean record. I’ve worked for automotive industry almost 5 years as a Sales Consultant and my jobs relates to driving. However, the recent incident got me terminated from my current position because I was being honest with my previous employer about my pending DWI charge. I was told that the dealership insurance company won’t accept DWI record under their coverage and I totally understand it. I’m also in the process of hiring an attorney to reduce my charge to a lower level, so I can continue looking for a new job and working in car business. Therefore, I’m having a few questions here: Do I need to disclose my DWI case with the new employers during interview processes and in applications? Will my public record show pending charge, arrest or anything related to DWI? Worst case scenario, do I have to wait till the final court’s result? Is there a way to expunge it? Regards,

Will they issue an extradition warrant for dwi crimes?
If on probation in Stearns county, would they issue an extradition warrant for a violation? Violation is based on one time substance use which lead to referral to prosecutor in another county for domestic disturbance no charges yet just a loud incident. Did not involve violence Essentially said person had completed intense probation for dwi and all requirements with 1 minor intermediate sanction but none in previous in 2 years. Said person admitted violation and said agent states they want an expedited violation they want 5 days jail from person. The "individual" couldnt afford to pay the $1.5k to get off probation at the time. Court date set but new place isn't so close to stearns county and just wondering if this would be treated as a stay away warrant or expidite from out of state. Said person did some jail time already and 90 days house arrest 2 years probation with 13 mos over head just couldnt pay fines. If said person was unable to appear in a timely fashion. Obviously the best route is to just handle said issue, however in the midst of a family emergency its quite hard to acquiesce to some demands.
You are conveniently leaving out the actual charges that you have. Are you saying you have some sort of DWI conviction...
