    The man said he was fine and just needed help getting up, but an ambulance crew was summoned to check him. -Jeri Stanley, South Lincoln Avenue, reported Aug. 10 a metal frog and shepherd's hook with a plant were stolen from her property.

    Driver faces charges: John C. Ellis Jr., 25, of 108 Colonial Way, Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, following too closely and traffic violations after he allegedly ran a woman's vehicle off the road and tailgated her early Friday.

  • Man gets 5 years on rape charges

    A 60-year-old Hanoverton man was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday for sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl. in order to get her to do what he wanted, including making threats that if she did not she would end up in foster care.
