At 8:25 p.m. Monday, July 18, Hackettstown police received a tip that Hidalgo-Gallegos, who was wanted on a $1,153 Hackettstown municipal court criminal warrant was at Alumni Field and while en route, observed him riding his bike on Main Street, police said. While speaking with Hidalgo-Gallegos, the officer discovered that he was in possession of a small bag of suspected marijuana, police said. Comment?

Eric Acton, 24, pleaded guilty in state Superior Court in Newton on Thursday, June 23, before Judge William J. McGovern III to third-degree aggravated assault and third-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. Acton admitted that he conspired and agreed to participate in an assault on an individual and committed the assault on July 14, 2014. Comment?
