A Franklin County deputy's dog was struck and killed this morning when she ran into traffic after seeing another dog across the street. Udet, a 3-year-old German shepherd who had worked for the sheriff's office for the past two years, was taken to MedVet in Worthington following the 10:38 a.m. incident near the Grove City-area home of her handler, Deputy Michael Durbin. Comment?

The burglary occurred at a residence in the 2900 block of Addison Drive between 5:45 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 17 while the owner was at work, reports said. When he returned, he noticed several items had been stolen, including a laptop computer valued at $400, a video-game console worth $300, an electronic mobile device valued at $100, and a BB gun. Comment?

The second individual suspected in connection to a August 2014 shootout in Clarksburg has been found guilty on five of the six charges against him. Donald Richardson Jordan, 26, of Grove City, Ohio, was convicted of Brandishing a Firearm, Wanton Endangerment Involving a Firearm, Malicious Assault and two counts of lesser offense Possession of a Controlled Substance. Comment?
