A resident loaned her lawn mower to a former neighbor and ended up calling police after the man tried to steal the mower, broke it, then threatened her with bodily harm, Grove City police reported. Police responded to reports of a disturbance at 4:08 p.m. June 22 in the 3300 block of Marshrun Drive . Comment?

A fired employee was arrested last week on charges of stealing a car from a local dealership, Grove City police reported. The manager at Byers Chevrolet, 5887 N. Meadows Drive , reported an employee fired on June 15 stole a $25,000 Chevrolet Malibu. Comment?

A resident reported a burglary occurred between 5 p.m. June 7 and 10 a.m. June 10 in the 4100 block of Franklin Street . The resident told police that in the process of moving, he and his wife returned to the residence to find the kitchen window partially torn off its frame and the back door unlocked. Comment?

Sometime between Feb. 3 and May 28, someone entered the Grove City woman's storage unit in the 400 block of Marlane Drive and stole a number of antique items. Included were dolls valued at $1,500, plates valued at $1,500 and a lamp valued at $200. Comment?
