I never went to court for a DUI. I have ALS(administrative license suspension). When ALS is over can I get my license?
I recently got a DUI and I didn't go to court. The DMV requires one year of ALS and a $450 reinstatement fee. When I have met those requirements will I be able to get a driver's license in another state or can the state I got the DUI in block me from ever getting a drivers license again? If they can block it forever, is there anything a lawyer can do to help get my license(short of me going back to OH and serving whatever my sentence would be) Got the DUI in OH and I'm now living in PA. Also, can they convict me in OH if I've never been to court(i did go to my arraignment and plead not guilty)?
I would recommend hiring an attorney in Ohio to help you with this matter. If you appeared in court for your...
Effect of Hospital records from emergency room doctor in OVI refusal case.
Refused to submit to blood draw at hospital over 2 hours after car ran off road and I hit my head on steering wheel. Hospital records from emergency room doctor indicate: "not clinically intoxicated" and "no nystagmus". Trooper arrived on scene after car ran into a ditch, claimed there was an odor of alcohol, while I was in emergency vehicle. Transported to hospital. Refusal was alleged to have occurred at 21:57 and time of alleged violation was 19:25.
Your question involves one of the most complex areas of OVI law. The ability to challenge a refusal successful will...

Will Juvenile Record Influence Consequence and What to Expect out of Underage Drinking Case
So, two days ago now I was issued a criminal complaint for underaged drinking. I am scheduled to go to court on June 16th and I am now 18 years old. Additionally, last year (when I was 17) I was arrested for drug paraphernalia. I completed diversion and had that sealed and nullified. However, now that I will again be in the legal system, will my past juvenile record influence the consequences? Should I expect jail time? If not, what fine should I expect and should I expect community service? Additionally, seeing as I was intoxicated, I wasn't completely sure of what story I was telling the officer about how I obtained the alcohol. I feel that my best bet is to exercise my right to the 5th amendment and avoid any trouble that could bring up. Thank you
Thank you for your question. This is serious and I would not go at it alone. Find a local attorney who will protect...
