A contractor was robbed at knifepoint as he packed up after cleaning a local business last week, Grove City police reported. Sometime after 3 a.m. Aug. 19, a contractor finished cleaning a restaurant in the 1600 block of Stringtown Road and began putting his supplies away in the trunk of his car in the parking lot outside. Comment?

Police responded at 9:46 p.m. Aug. 8 to a business in the 3500 block of Broadway after an employee reported two men were in the bathroom, possibly using drugs. The employee said she recognized them as associates of another individual who was caught using heroin in the same bathroom on another occasion. Comment?

Shortly after midnight Aug. 7 on Stringtown Road near Interstate 71 , a Grove City police officer on patrol attempted to pull over a vehicle with expired license plates. But the suspect vehicle continued driving and pulled into a nearby parking lot, where it accelerated and drove recklessly, police reports said. Comment?

A 21-year-old resident fell victim to an online scam trying to land a job last month, Grove City police reported. The woman answered an online advertisement for a job caring for a disabled woman who would be moving from Wisconsin to Ohio, police reports said. Comment?

At 12:51 p.m. July 14, a man walked into Joy Lucky Restaurant, 3463 Broadway , said he had a gun and demanded money from the cash register, police reports said. When an employee told him no money was in the register, the suspect took the tip jar. Comment?
