Date 11-13-13 Muskegon county. At my arrest, I replied, "No, I don't want to do anything until I speak to my lawyer." Warrant was imposed. Blood test taken, just minutes shy of two hours collection recorded. I was having a panic attack as my chemical rights were being read. I uttered, "I want to speak to my lawyer." While incarcerated, I was told that my license was suspended because I refused test. However, report says that I was asked again and I denied again the opportunity. I yelled out, "No! I want the breath test," repeatedly. Four officers looked up and I said they are all witnessing that I am asking for the test but am being denied. In short, the money I have is tied up in a 401k. I cannot secure other money in time for my hearing. Are there lawyers who will use my 401k?
There are moderately priced attorneys that would not need that much upfront that you could get an attorney with a...
I was in Newago county when a party got busted. I had only drank a glass of wine that night but blew a .041 and got an MIP. Should I plead guilty or not guilty? If I plead not guilty, what are my chances of getting off? If I plead guilty, what will happen? I just really don't want this on my record, which is clean. Also I don't know if it matters but I turn 21 in March.
If this is your first offense for MIP, you may be eligible for a deferral which would give you the opportunity to not...

Since then I have gotten 3 driving on suspended (in the past 9 years) I moved to california a year and a half ago and cleaned up my life and now need my license to transport my daughter to and from school so I need to start the process. I also have a pending case that I never went to court for (driving on suspended) . I am trying to fill out the packet that the Secretary of State provides to apply to get my license back and it's asking for specific dates of my criminal history (I do not know specific dates) so I may need a criminal docate. Where do I even start?
Step one: order your 7-year driving record from the Michigan Sec of State (costs about $8). Step two: after you get...

They had me blow in this big machine and got my alcohol level. Im in school I work and I was working towards getting my license back I actually only have a couple more tickets in Detroit to pay and ill have my license back. but they wrote me a ticket for DUI and Driving on suspended license I go to court Wednesday.
Anything is possible but a lawyer cannot properly assess your options based upon this limited version of the events....
I was driving several hours after drinking but was lost because I was out of state. I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled my car. No other people or cars were involved. I lost my driving privileges in Ohio but the Ohio Patrol said to contact a MI attorney to verify if I still had driving privileges in MI.
