Officials say on Monday, August 24, the Gloversville Police Department received information that the American Legion on 200 North Main Street may have been burglarized. Officers responded and located broken windows and an open door to the building. Comment?

A 24-year-old man was arrested by the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force while in Kingston Tuesday, stemming from charges against him in Gloversville. Elijah P. Brown, formerly of 13 N. Water St., Gloversville, was charged by city police with felony first-degree burglary with a firearm, felony first-degree robbery with a firearm, felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing. A Johnstown man was arrested Sunday on two charges after a domestic incident with his girlfriend involving a loaded shotgun, city police said. Police charged Nathan K. Wood, 20, of 16 W. Montgomery St., at 1:15 p.m. with criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree attempted assault, both misdemeanors. Comment?
