Is contributing to a minor of 18 years of age a felony or a misdemeanor in the state of Alabama?
Question relating to previous post. A mother let her 18 year old son drink at their home and police were called by room mate that was kicked out that day, in retaliation he called law enforcement saying that the 18 year old was drinking. When police showed up they got the son to get the mother to come out side and then Breathalyzer the son and took mother and son to jail charging the mother with contributing to the minor and the son with under age drinking.
The son and mother need to hire an attorney right away. There are much bigger concerns here than just what level...

The mothers bail was set at $1000. and the sons bail was set at $500 and they have to go to court in November. What is most likely to happen in court and do they need attorney's?
I believe they each would benefit from an attorney, but the mother needs one for sure. Providing alcohol to a minor...

Its my first offense and I can not afford an attorney. I also was unable to come up with $1000 in time for court. how will that effect the outcome? I'm supposed to be moving from Alabama to Florida in the next month. Can this effect my move? Does anyone know if it'd be better to try Md transfer it to Florida?
Because of the seriousness of a DUI conviction, I would always advise to consult an attorney and retain one to...

I was charged with a DUI in Alabama. First offense. Will my licenses be suspended two 90 day periods?
Referring to the initial 90 day suspension notice which is up for me next month. I was later convicted in court of first offense DUI. Will I have to wait another 90 days for my suspension to end? Or will I be able to get my licenses after the Administration suspension is up?
I assume you had an attorney since you have already been to court. You need to consult with your attorney.
