A Gainesville man wanted for allegedly fleeing from police and running a deputy off the road was arrested Saturday in Habersham County, according to authorities. James Cody Jett, 24, is accused of side-swiping a Hall County Sheriff's Office patrol car and forcing it into a guardrail Nov. 21 on Cagle Road, spokeswoman Deputy Nicole Bailes previously told The Times of Gainesville. The victim, Charles Morris, told authorities Burchardt rattled the front door handle and appeared armed with a handgun about 8 a.m. Nov. 17. Hall County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a Gainesville man wanted for the robbery of an acquaintance at the victim's home on Tuesday, October 20. "There is a female that kind of links the two together, and that's the only information that I've been made aware of," Bailes said.
