She feels she may have been drugged as she has no recollection of the latter part of the evening. No blood tests. No urine tests. Her friend will attest that she she left the pub she looked fine... But that I the point where my daughters recollection of the evening stops .... For approx 4 to 6 hours. What is typical outcome for first DUI and no other priors? Secondly ... On DUI probation, should I proactively admit to a probation violation or not say anything and deny if violated?
I'm on probation for a first offense misdemeanor DUI w/ injury. All restitution/court costs/fees paid + I've started my community service. Can't have alcohol, and I have an interlock device. No prior violations, I've been polite and on time to all my appointments, and my probation officer has been pleasant with me. I had a relapse and drank one night, and the next morning my interlock registered a violation. I meet with my PO before the next time the interlock data will get uploaded. Should I confess ahead of time to my PO and tell the truth, that I'm not trying to get away with anything and I'm trying to get better and I'm in therapy and starting to do better and hope for mercy, or not say anything/deny if violated? Which less likely to result in jail? I will lose my job if I go to jail.
Talk to your attorney about this, rather than sending out the question to strangers on the Internet who are not...

Will a DUI nolle prosequi prevent me from becoming a registered patent agent with the USPTO? Or from becoming a lawyer?
I received a nolle prosequi for a DUI charge about 2 years ago. I recently decided I would like to attempt to become a patent agent and eventually attend law school. I am concerned as to whether the nolle prosequi will prevent the USPTO from allowing me to test for, or eventually become, a registered patent agent. This also got me thinking about what other things can prevent someone from becoming a lawyer? Do things like bad credit come up as well? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Anything and everything can effect whether the FL Bar grants you admission into the FL bar. Bad credit may affect your...
