A Montreal area man, who is preparing to sue the owners of a Detroit gas bar, says he might never have been robbed there if his Canadian credit card had been accepted at the pump. "By not accepting my card at the pump, they - all parties - placed me in incredible danger by forcing me to go into the store to pay," Stephen Pickford said of his armed mugging on Nov. 27. It happened as he was returning to his Troy, Mich., hotel after touring around Detroit on the U.S. Thanksgiving weekend. Comment?
