    Police are searching for a suspect in the killing of a 68-year-old man at a gas station in Northeast D.C. Officers responded to a Valero gas station on the 900 block of Brentwood Road NE about 6 a.m. after a call. Ahmad was unconscious, not breathing and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police say.

    A Democratic political group fired a Virginia man who was arrested in Las Vegas after witnesses said he pushed into a Republican event and grabbed the manager of Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt's campaign for governor. American Bridge 21st Century President Bradley Beychok said in a statement Thursday that 50-year-old Wilfred Michael Stark was an employee of the super PAC, but had been dismissed.

    A Falls Church man is now facing a series of charges after police say he drunkenly forced his way into an apartment and assaulted its occupants. Police received a call around 3 a.m. after a woman living along the 1200 block of N. Fillmore Street in Clarendon was woken up by a visibly intoxicated man "speaking incoherently" at her front door.

    A political operative from Virginia with a history of confronting Republican political figures faces a misdemeanor battery charge in Nevada after witnesses say he pushed into a GOP campaign event and grabbed the manager of state Attorney General Adam Laxalt's gubernatorial campaign. Wilfred Michael Stark, 50, of Falls Church, Virginia, was freed Wednesday from Las Vegas city jail on $1,140 bail following his Tuesday evening arrest, said Jace Radke, a city spokesman.
