A 20-year-old Lowell man is facing firearms charges after police say he ran from the scene of a fight downtown with a loaded 9mm gun in his hand before he was caught and arrested inside the Leo Roy Parking Garage. Officers say they executed a search warrant at an apartment Thursday evening and arrested four people after finding two loaded handguns, 16 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Police charged one of the suspects, 22-year-old Lee Manuel Rios, with murdering 18-year-old Kenneth Lopez on March 25. The four suspects were to be arraigned Friday in Springfield District Court.
