  • Suspect from Alaska arrested in Eastpointe, MI

    A suspect wanted in connection to a homicide in Alaska was arrested in Eastpointe on Thursday, and is now in Macomb County Jail. According to the Anchorage Police Department, Linda Richards, 49, is the suspect in a homicide investigation from Jan. 28. She's wanted on charges of second-degree murder, kidnapping and first-degree robbery.

  • BB gun used to shoot out windows of moving buses

    EASTPOINTE/ROSEVILLE - Police are investigating a pair of incidents, which appear to be related, that involve windows being shot out of moving buses by a BB gun. Roseville police arrived at the first scene at approximately 7:52 p.m. Oct. 15 for a report of windows having been shot out of a Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation bus that was traveling southbound on Gratiot Avenue near Frazho Road.
