    Barrett, 28, of Carrollton, was cited for failure to stop an assured cleared distance after she drove into the rear of a vehicle operated by James Headley, 55, of Salem, who slowed for a deer on state Route 9 in Hanover Township at 7:05 p.m. Saturday. - Micah R. Chamberlain, 42, of New Waterford, was cited for failure to control after he drove off the road, struck a tree and overturned while driving on Lower Elkton Road in Fairfield Township at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.

    Albert M. White, 18, state Route 170, East Palestine, was sentenced in Columbiana County Municipal Court to seven days in jail, fined $200 and required 40 hours community service for arson for setting a fire at the softball fields on Brookdale Avenue on Aug. 14. Additionally, White was ordered to pay $135 to the East Palestine Girls Softball Association. A Jan. 29 pretrial was set for Alexander T. Pecor, 18, Signal Road, Columbiana, charged with inducing panic.

    An Oct. 29 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Kaid D. Todd, 28, North Main, Columbiana, charged with burglary for allegedly entering his mother's home on Chestnut Street, Leetonia, without permission in order to commit a theft on Oct. 8 and 9. Albert M. White, 18, state Route 170, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to arson for setting fire to a small building holding equipment at the East Palestine Girls Softball Association fields on Brookdale Avenue in Unity Township on Aug. 14. White was treated for burns he suffered committing the offense. Sentencing is set for Nov. 13. A Nov. 15 pretrial was set for Ronald L. Lodge, 26, Canfield, cited with OVI second offense and failure to control.

    Brandon Scott Moore, 23, Granite Street, Salem, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth degree felony. He faces up to 18 months in prison and a $5,000 fine.
