Changing treatment center on a deferred prosecution will it affect my license reinstatement
i am doing a deferred prosecution and must change treatment center for financial reasons. they said if i change they are going to add one thousand dollars back on to the balance due because they sighned me up on a sliding fee scale. I paid every month for my prior months treatment so should i sign a promissary note to keep paying them when i will no longer be using their services? will not paying them have any impact on my driverse license renewal if i am compliant at my new treatment center, The judge has okayed the change but i dont know what to do with these jacked up charges they want me to pay. please help i am at a loss and would appreciate any advice.
It sounds like your treatment center is not very reputable. You should not sign the promissory note. But, in order to...
I got charge with DUI awhile back it was supposed to be plead down reckless driving, I got charged for DWLS 2 in July 2014 and had a warrant out for my arrest for the DWLS cause I missed court. I went today and found out I had a warrant for the DUI too because I broke my agreement. But on my criminal background it still says DUI instead of reckless driving can I request and get a retrial?
What it sounds like is that you were doing some type of diversion or continuance on conditions so that if you complied...
DUI and DWLS 2
Today I went to court to quash a warrant for DWLS 2, (pretrial is in June) they said in the warrant my bail was 1500 but walked away paying nothing I did find out I had a warrant for my DUI case because I broke my agreement for my DUI after being caught driving again. What do I look like I could be facing? I have other charges in the past for driving without a license.
I am not a WA attorney, but can tell from your question that more information is needed. One of the primary...
I have a warrant for FTA for DUI that was dropped to Reckless driving. Judge says I didn't do my Victim Impact Panel & Alcohol
Awareness class but I did do it & gave the paper to my public defender, who was a fill in for my original PD at the time. Judge said I didn't need to come back to court as long as I turned in the paper. What can I do? How can I prove that I did that? It has been 1 1/2 years ago & I just recently found out about the warrant.
You can contact the PD office to get your file, ask the clerk for a copy of the court file, or you can try and get the...

I had the interlock for 5 years per the deferred, was revoked, now have to have it again for another 6? Can I appeal this?
Entered into the deferred in 2006, paid all fines, completed treatment, however I got a felony very close to my completion date. I went to prison for the felony, and just went to my motion to revoke hearing, and went to jail for 60 days. I got home and found that I have to have the interlock for another 6 years? I would like to know if I can appeal this, and get my NONE interlock license back! My felony was not driving, or alcohol related, and have not had another DUI since.... Please advise, thanks! -Tobin
The ignition interlock requirement is set by the Department of Licensing and the length of time is dependent on the...
Can i still be charged with a DUI if i was 10-15 feet away from my vehicle with the keys in my pocket?
My car was in a ditch, i was on the phone with a towing company, cop comes and charges me and arrest me for a DUI. I was not behind the wheel, nor was my keys in the ignition. The officer did not pull me over.
Yes they can. However, your case may be stronger because they must independently be able to prove you drove the car....
