Will Juvenile Record Influence Consequence and What to Expect out of Underage Drinking Case
So, two days ago now I was issued a criminal complaint for underaged drinking. I am scheduled to go to court on June 16th and I am now 18 years old. Additionally, last year (when I was 17) I was arrested for drug paraphernalia. I completed diversion and had that sealed and nullified. However, now that I will again be in the legal system, will my past juvenile record influence the consequences? Should I expect jail time? If not, what fine should I expect and should I expect community service? Additionally, seeing as I was intoxicated, I wasn't completely sure of what story I was telling the officer about how I obtained the alcohol. I feel that my best bet is to exercise my right to the 5th amendment and avoid any trouble that could bring up. Thank you
Thank you for your question. This is serious and I would not go at it alone. Find a local attorney who will protect...

Is it posssible to avoid jail time from a first degree misdemeanor?
I am being charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor and letting the minor drink alcohol. She snook out of her house past curfew without her parents consent and I am 19 year old student. This is my very first offense ever, I am a college student, and have a clean record. Is it possible to get into the diversion program with the help of a lawyer? Thank you very much!
What programs are available to you would depend heavily on circumstances and specifics, but the diversion program is a...

If you lost your right to drive in OH for refusing, then what may be showing up on your MVR is the refusal to take a...
Is it possible to get driving privileges (for work, school) in Tennessee?
I had my license suspended in the state of Ohio for a dui conviction. My license is suspended/restricted privileges until the middle of September. I currently am allowed to drive to work and school however due to priviledges. I accepted a job offer in Tennessee and am moving there next week. Is it possible for me to have the same driving privileges (work) there as I do in Ohio? I know that I will not be able to get my license, but I would like to have the mentioned priviledges so I would be able to go to work. Thank you for any answers.
I find that most Courts in Ohio list the place and hours of employment on the order permitting driving privileges. If...
Why would a suspected drunk driver who refused a breathalyzer not ever be arrested?
My car broke down and we were pushing it off of the freeway. My husband a boys pushed while I steered. We got it half way up a ramp off to the right of the line, had flashers, reflective triangle and vests. My boys stopped to take a Break on the back of the vehicle, I put it in park and a drunk driver hit them. My youngest was injured but my middles son suffered 2 crushed legs and a host of other injuries and nearly died on the scene as well as in the hospital. We live in the Columbus Ohio area. She had no valid license no insurance and it wasn't her car!
You should contact a personal injury lawyer to protect your sons' rights immediately. Although there was no license or...
DUI "Administrative Processing" how long does it typically take for FBI clearance (i am currently in Mexico city) ?
Hi, I am currently in the process of visa stamping in Mexico City. I have a DUI from 2014, and I've completed all things ordered by the court. The case was closed (not expunged) in June 2015. I attended my Visa interview on April 4th 2016, completed and submitted the Panel physician as directed by the consulate on April 4th 2016. and i am still waiting on any update from the consulate and is still in "Administrative Processing" showing last update as April 4th 2016. I am assuming they are going through FBI clearance right now. Could you please let me know how long this process might take ? It has been 1 month now since the submission of the reports by the Panel Physician. Please Advise. Thanks.
Weeks to several months or more. There is no set time frame.
