    An unarmed security monitor who critics say could have stopped the Florida high school massacre was suspended last year for sexually harassing two female students, with one of them later dying in February's shooting, her family told The Associated Press on Thursday. The father and brother of Meadow Pollack say she was one of two girls Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School security monitor Andrew Medina harassed last year.

    The younger brother of the Florida school shooting suspect launched an anti-bullying campaign Thursday, saying he witnessed mistreatment of Nikolas Cruz that may have been a key factor in the Feb. 14 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Zachary Cruz, 18, said the initiative will set up anti-bullying student chapters at schools across the country, create a 24-hour national telephone hotline for bullying victims to call for help and provide sustained attention to the problem.

Broward County schools administrator Michaelle Pope told the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission on Thursday that the district's Promise program has reduced campus crime.

    The senior class from the Florida high school where 17 people died in February's gun massacre held graduation ceremonies Sunday afternoon, with the focus on honoring four students slain in the attack. Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is presenting diplomas to the families of Nicholas Dworet, Joaquin Oliver, Meadow Pollack, and Carmen Schentrup at the event that began about 2 p.m. The school principal, Ty Thompson, underscored the honors to the four slain students in a tweet Sunday.
