Is it possible to get an ignition interlock limited permit before the initial 120 days suspension period is over.
I was arrested 06/2015 for a 2nd DUI in 5 years. My license was suspended for 13 months until I took a certificate of completion from my risk reduction class to the DDS, at which point I paid to have it reinstated until I was convicted in 01/2017. I want to know if it's possible that the 13 months I had my license suspended before my conviction could count towards my total suspension, OR, if it's possible for me to get an ignition interlock permit before the initial 120 days of hard suspension is over, with written consent from the Judge who convicted me.
Call a local DUi lawyer since no one on AVVO is able to answer your question.
What do I do now? I went to felony probation in dekalb county, GA & tested dirty for 1 out of 4 things.
They told me to sign a paper for the drug tests & have a seat. I signed the paper and left b/c I had to pick my daughter up from daycare. What's going to happen?
Well, you were already in trouble for failing the drug test and then you made things worse by leaving when they told...

Do I have suspended licence
What if my fta has been dismissed and when I went to renew my licence the fta was still there and my licence was kept at the DMV . I called the recorders court a year later and they said the case had been dismissed an my licence need reinstating. Does that mean my licence was suspended during that timeframe.
If the department of driver services says your license is suspended, then it is suspended. If you have an old fta you...
Does DeKalb County GA participate in the 2 for 1 credit?
I was convicted for a 2nd DUI in DeKalb County, GA. The sentence I received was 5 days in jail with credit for 8 hours time served. Once I report to jail will I be eligible for the 2 for 1 credit or will it be more probable for me to have to do the entire 4 days and 16 hours?
Your question entirely depends on if the jail gives you 2 for 1 (which would be an odd scheme for Dekalb county)....
How does he determine why he contests the suspension?
My son is going to complete his own administrative hearing request regarding his DUI license suspension without use of an attorney. He is within his ten day time frame. He needs to drive back and forth to work as well as getting his wife to the doctor (she's pregnant and due in March).
This is a difficult question to answer, and it really highlights why the best way to give yourself a chance of victory...
Can Ga DDS be held liable for my personal and legal miseries?
On 1-Oct-2015, I was stopped by a metro-Atlanta police agency for a broken taillight and was told by the officer that Ga-DDS indicated that I was an unlicensed driver. They indicated that my ga id cardf, which i were using for id, was valid but I was unlicensed as a driver. A little background, I had a temporary license at the time as a result of a dui that i got in early July of the same year. However, I had lost the original copy and had a copy of the temporary sticker but sans my identifying info on this temporary license that established who I was legally. I've had a ga license for over 40 yrs and could not figure out why the DDS was saying that I was unlicensed. It did not say my license were suspended. I was arrested for driving w/out license. I had to pay over $400.00 for bond and spent 4 days in jail. DDS admitted that a clerical error resulted in my demise. I have an letter from DDS attesting to this fact. Also, I over stand this concept of "Sovereign Immunity and the hurdles that must be over come to be compensated for their misdeeds. I'm also aware that their are exceptions to any rule or law including this concept called "Sovereign Immunity." Thanks In Advance.
Unclear whether you only had a state-issued ID card, or a driver's license. Either way, without significant damages,...
