The murder convictions two Albany men have been vacated by a judge after authorities say another man implicated himself in the 1997 shooting of Erik Mitchell in his apartment. Albany County prosecutors say 53-year-old Jeffrey Conrad, formerly of Albany, made incriminating statements to police following his 2014 arrest in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in the fatal stabbing of his former girlfriend. Comment?

Burglary, Longview Drive: At 1:50 p.m. June 24, a girl, 14, called 911 when a man she didn't know appeared at her home's back door. The girl went to her room to make the call as the man called out "Hello" several times, apparently in an effort to determine if someone was home. Comment?
