    PSP are investigating a theft that occurred on the 5100-block of Crossroads Boulevard in Beccaria Township on Oct. 5 at 5:53 p.m. Actors removed items from the residence they were renting from Raymond Rowles, 45, of Coalport and Stephanie Coyer, 50, of Coalport. The victim related that they did not have permission to remove the items.

  • Second mistrial declared in burglary/harassment case

    Yesterday a second mistrial was declared in the case against Daniel Ocrotty, 27, of Curwensville after a visiting judge couldn't be found to try the case. Ocrotty was scheduled to go to trial yesterday on charges of burglary-overnight accommodations-person present bodily injury crime, - a felony of the first degree, criminal trespass, break into structure - a felony of the second degree, defiant trespass-actual communication to - a misdemeanor of the third degree and harassment - a summary in front of a visiting judge.

    State police received a report about a theft that occurred Saturday on Elizabeth Street in Beccaria Township. During the incident, a couple was allegedly involved in the removal of chainsaws, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers and other miscellaneous items from the victim's property without permission.

    Troopers responded to a crash on Friday at 3:36 p.m. on Walltown Road at the intersection of North Street in Grampian Borough. A 2016 Hyundai Sonata was stationary at the intersection before pulling out on to Main Street and did not see a 2011 Kia Rio that had begun turning onto Walltown Road from Main Street, striking the Rio.

    Two known juvenile males became in an altercation that turned physical on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the West Branch Middle School, 516 Allport Cutoff. One of the males was charged with harassment.

    Between June 1 and Aug. 9, all unknown actor stole a pedestal gas heating stove with a glass front from a rental property located on the 200-block of Simpston Street in Janesville, Gulich Township, owned by John Ferguson, 68, of Philipsburg. The stove is valued at $1,200.

  • Demi Pleads Guilty in Chase Anderson Murder Case

    A Woodland woman has negotiated a plea agreement in relation to her involvement with the August of 2017 murder of Chase Anderson, 19, of Curwensville. Chantell Renee Demi, 27, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping to inflict injury or terror, conspiracy/kidnapping, abuse of corpse, conspiracy/abuse of corpse and tampering with evidence.
