Cranston Police Department's Sergeant Gregg Weller says they responded to a call about a fight around 2:30 a.m. where they found 50 people fighting on Hillwood Street on August 30th. 22 year old Robert Soucy, of Pawtucket and 21 year old Malcolm Herbest, of Providence, were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after the incident. A man with multiple aliases, more than 100 arrests since 1996 and dozens of stints at the ACI is back in jail for yet another fraud. The Rhode Island State Police arrested Paul Zazzaro of Cranston last week for his alleged use of a woman's stolen credit card to go on a shopping spree in Lincoln and Woonsocket. Comment?

A Johnston man and woman responsible for a crime spree over the weekend are facing first-degree robbery charges after dogged police work by the Smithfield Police Department. Police said George E. Lial, 25; and Danielle Garafalo, also 25, both of 17 Elmgrove Ave., Johnston, began their criminal marathon at 1:07 a.m. on Aug. 9 when police were dispatched to the Mobil gas station on Putnam Pike for a robbery report. There's an arrest in a break-in at the National Education Association of Rhode Island building in Cranston. Police say Paul Strumar of Warwick is charged with breaking and entering with criminal intent, resisting arrest, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Comment?

The juveniles responded to a craigslist ad and lured the seller to a secluded area where he was ambushed, assaulted and robbed. Two 14-year-old boys are facing first-degree robbery charges after they ambushed and violently robbed a man selling iPhones on craigslist on Sunday next to the rectory at St. Matthew's Church in Cranston. Comment?

The day after Alan Ponte was arrested by Cranston police for his role in setting up a phony collection table for breast cancer research at the annual St. Mary's Feast, Sheldon Luther called the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and left a message. In it, he made reference that his brother was arrested and he was very upset because he had approval to collect donations from the Foundation. Comment?
