    CORNING, N.Y. A Corning police officer was injured over the weekend following a physical altercation with a suspect. According to police, around 1:00 in the morning on Sunday, July 29, police in the area of Sterling Street and Dodge Avenue in the City of Corning saw a man walking in the roadway following a noise complaint.
