I was charged for a DUI on November 17th. Today is December 6th and I was caught shoplifting a cardigan from Target.
I haven't been given a probation officer yet. The DUI is from September 2013 but I didn't go to court for it until September 2014. If Target presses charges, is this a probation violation since I hadn't started my probation yet? I am almost 7 months pregnant and the idea of going to jail anytime soon is pretty intimidating.
It is not a probation violation, but it may be an "out on bail" violation. If you were given release from bail on your...

I recieved an underage drinking ticket but was not breathalized. Should i plead not guilty?
My friends and I were tailgating at a concert out of the back of one of their cars. we had alcohol sitting in the trunk of the car and were drinking mixed drinks out of cups. after being there for about an hour an excise cop walked up to us, showed us his badge, and asked for our id's. (im not sure if excise cops are only in indiana or not, but they are in charge of monitoring alcohol and tobacco use and dress undercover.) we handed him our id's and he proceeded to give us tickets for alcohol consumption and possession. He said he had been watching us for about 45 min and saw some of us drinking. He only breathalyzed half of us, and I was not one of them. Should I try to fight this because I was not breathalyzed?
You have not been charged with being "under the influence." You are, in fact, being charged with "underage consumption....
What are the consequences in Indiana for illegal consumption of alcohol by someone between the age of 18 and 20?
My 19 year old brother was pulled over for speeding. The police officer smelled alcohol on him and decided to do a breathalizer. He blew a 0.01. The officer told my brother that because he was 19 that they had to take him to jail. He only spent a few hours in jail and then was let go without someone having to post bond. Knowing that he was a first time offender what are the possible options of punishment for him?
