Three individuals are facing drug charges today after authorities in Harrison County executed a search warrant on their residence Sunday. In the early Sunday morning hours, the Harrison County Sheriffs Department's Street Crimes and Drug Unit arrested Emily Floyd, 21, of Salem, Gianna "G.G." Scott, 19, of Clarksburg, and Dimetri L. Ripley, 29 of McKeesport, PA, on heroin related drug charges. Comment?

An undercover operation in Harrison County nabbed three suspects on drug charges over the weekend, but it may have also solved a shooting from earlier this month. Clarksburg Police consider the two juveniles arrested during the bust to be persons of interest in an August 17th non-fatal shooting near Stealey Avenue in the city. Comment?

An undercover operation in Harrison County led to the arrested of one adult and two juveniles attempting to distribute heroin. On Friday, the Harrison County Sheriff's Department Street Crimes and Drug Unit attempted an undercover "controlled buy" of heroin in the downtown Clarksburg area from Travis Ryan Pennington, 28, of Clarksburg, who was assisted by two juvenile males from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Comment?

Samantha E. Metzgar, 33, of Grafton, was indicted by a grand jury called into session for this one case Thursday, arrested at her home shortly after and then arraigned Friday morning. She is accused of shooting Benjamin Adam Cooper, a Clarksburg resident and 24 at the time, in the back of the head with a pistol and leaving him dead at the scene near the Boothsville area. Comment?

A Fairmont man has pleaded guilty to four counts of murder related to a 2013 quadruple homicide in Harrison County, but it will be October before it is known if the court will accept those pleas. The trial of Sidney Arthur Muller, 29, was set to begin Monday morning, but instead, he entered guilty pleas to two counts of first degree murder and two counts of second degree murder -which had been negotiated down from first degree murder as part of a deal with the state. Comment?
