I have two DUI, the last happened in 2010, second - 2006. I want to go for a naturalization this year. Do I have any chance ?
know I have to have 5 years back clear record and show to officers that I am a good person. For personal reason I would like to go now for a citizenship and I don't want to wait until 2015. I heard different opinions , one telling me go for it and another that I should wait. What is the best way to do? I still kept my driving license and I am not in probations. The last DUI was on Easter , I was driving uneven that's why the police officer pull me over. I didn't hit anybody, I didn't hurt anyone. I was driving alone. I fell test for a sober, the test shows that I was under influence. My case was closed this May 2013. I had to pay the fee and I spent two weeks DUI program. I finished and they remove my probations. I pay guilty. I wanted this case to be close, because took 3 years to clos

First time oui in Ma $500 reinstatement fee and $500 for breath refusal. Does the $500 drop after 1 year on the breath refusal
lost my license 12-11-2011 on a oui. Court was set for 9-24-2012 Got a continue without finding license was suspended 45 more days. Now its time to get license back and they are saying $1000 to get it back. If I wait the full year does the $500 get dropped on the refusal?
It sounds like the $500 is a court fine as a result of a plea (CWOF) in which case no, you must pay all the fines as it'...
Do you turn yourself in for driving drunk?
This might sound crazy, but I am SO anxious about this. My husband had a few too many Friday afternoon and drove during rush hour. (mostly highways, a main road, and one side street). When he got home I was SO angry at him, he went to bed and we didn't speak. The next morning he was SO ashamed of himself and sick to his stomach about it. I looked at his car. There are 2 scratches by the passenger wheel fenders; nowhere else. It almost looks like he hit something stationary, or our garage, or something. Someone could have hit him in a parking lot that day, but I am not sure. I am worried he hit a car or a person or something. I called the police the next day and no one had reported anything, but it was the weekend, so maybe they didn't report yet.
Nothing to gain by turning himself in. First of all, there is no information as to whether he hit something that night...
Seeking advice for RMV Appeal
Was denied a hardship request on an OUI on grounds that there is evidence of operating after suspension. Was cited prior to being convicted of OUI for operating after suspension and was told by the RMV I must appeal their decision. I have both my registration suspended due to the operation after suspension and license suspended due to CTR on OUI. RMV tells me I must appeal both at same time at the Board of Appeals. How do I approach this?
