What would be the penalty that he's looking at for these DUIs?
A friend of mine was arrested for a DUI 2/14/2015 with a BAC of .24. Currently the case is still open, he should be sentenced at his next appearance. However, he was picked up on 4/9/2016 for an AGG DUI, no valid license and leaving the scene, among other charges. This is his second DUI arrest in Illinois, but he also has one DUI in Michigan which was about 10 years ago.
Your friend needs to consult an IL attorney right away. This is serious. In Colorado, for example, if someone is...
DUI Court supervision violation Illinois
I was placed on court supervision for a dui in cook county but I live in Winnebago county so they transferred my supervision so I can do my treatment close to home.. The people in Winnebago told me I have until December to finish classes, impact panel & community service.. I've finished everything except my com-service but now cook county sent me a violation notice because I haven't started my com-service yet but I don't know why because I was told I have until December to do 100hrs so I still have plenty of time and I haven't gotten any new charges... The case worker in Winnebago says he doesn't know why I'm being violated because to his knowledge I had until December to get it done and he doesn't control if cook county violates they are only facilitating my case
Get started on your community service and make sure you appear at your violation hearing. It is recommended that you...

I need help understanding illegible tickets my father received. Alleged DUI & 4 counts of property damage? What are the codes?
Hi. I'm a 26 yr old female, residing in CA (currently studying for the July CA bar exam so I can eventually become an attorney myself). My father resides/is domiciled in Chicago area. He was cited on Monday, from what he says is Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and 4 counts of property damage. I asked him what exactly he's being charged with, but the writing is illegible. He bonded out on spot. I do not understand the Chicago court system. Any information would help me. I am trying to do what I can for him, as he's helped me so much in my life. I know of no attorneys in Chicago. We are both on limited income as he spent all his money on my law school. In the state of CA, I know it is recommended (not required) for an attorney to do 50 hrs of pro bono work. Are there any attorneys willing to take this type of case on pro bono? Please, any information would help. I've called the courthouse (Division 5) to get information. But no luck, because he's not in the system (yet). What should I do? I want him to obtain police reports? I just need to be there for my dad, even though I'm 2000 miles away. Any information would be more than appreciated.

Can I get my summary suspension rescinded after I made plea deal? Lawyer originally stated it was included in plea but was not.
I agreed to plea bargain on dui to reckless driving but lawyer said drivers license would be reinstated. Now a month later I am being told that was not part of the plea deal. I was told it was included now what can I do. Have contacted lawyer and does not want to do anything about it.
If your lawyer is unresponsive, consult in person with a new lawyer. You do not have much time do you should act quickly.
Will I be denied entry into Canada for a DUI 9 years ago?
I had a DUI in 2007. I was hoping to travel to Canada but I have heard you cannot enter with a DUI. When I look up the case record it says Status: Disposition Report: Terminated
If you were convicted of DUI in 2007 you are deemed inadmissible by the Canadian government at this time. I cannot...
