    Cheyenne Police responded to initial reports of an armed burglary in the 1000 block of Jefferson Rd. When CBS NewsChannel 5 arrived on scene officers were armed with assault rifles investigating the area. According to reports a man kicked down the front door of a house and robbed the homeowner at gunpoint.

  • Two Arrested in Aggravated Assault Case

    The Cheyenne Police Department arrested two men last night in connection with an aggravated assault case that occurred at Dell Range Boulevard and Hilltop Avenue. Matthew Carabajal-Jacoby, 25, of Cheyenne, was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Facility on aggravated assault and interference with peace officer charges.

    The Numismatic Crime Information Center is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for shooting and killing two men at a rare-coin shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Police identify the victims of the July 20 shooting as 67-year-old Dwight Brockman, the shop owner, and 76-year-old George Manley.

    The Laramie County Coroner's office has confirmed 23-year-old Saige Hack died from a gunshot fired by police. The Cheyenne Police Department was called to 215 Stinson Ave. on July 16, 2015 after receiving reports of suspicious circumstances regarding a woman running from the residence and stating the occupant had a gun.

    The Cheyenne Police Department arrested a man on Hynds Blvd. on July 31 at 11:45 a.m. in connection with a homicide investigation. 30 year old, Tyler Child of Cheyenne, was allegedly arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Facility on a second degree murder charge.

  • Reward Offered in Coin Shop Killer Case

    A reward of $5000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who committed the Coin Shop double homicide on July 20. The Cheyenne Police Department is continuing to investigate this case and currently has 16 detectives actively investigating the homicide. In addition these detectives are working with surrounding law enforcement agencies in an effort to apprehend the suspect.
