A northeast Ohio man has been charged with felonious assault and aggravated arson after police say he poured gasoline on his roommate and started a fire in a bedroom at their home. North Canton police say the 54-year-old man doused with gasoline wasn't burned in Thursday night's blaze. Comment?

A 20-year-old received three years probation Friday for her part in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Alleigha Church-Green, formerly of Cedar Rapids now living in Canton, Ohio, pleaded guilty in August to felony perjury and accessory after the fact, a misdemeanor. She was sentenced to seven years in prison, but a judge suspended the sentence and gave her three years probation. Comment?

Jordan S. Angle, 28, of Canton, was taken into custody from the Stark County Jail Friday morning on a warrant for felony counts of illegal manufacture of drugs and drug abuse, as well as misdemeanor counts of falsification, obstructing official business and possessing drug abuse instruments. The warrant was issued after officers found him and Emily L. Duchon, 25, 159 Redwood Drive, unresponsive in a vehicle at the Sebring Lake Estates at 8 a.m. Aug. 15. Beloit EMS responded with Cpl.
