Police obtained an arrest warrant Monday for Wilberto Melendez, 27, charging him with criminal homicide, firearms not to be carried without a license and persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms in the fatal shooting of Jeremy Torres , according to a news release from police. Torres, 32, of West James Street suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was found just before 2:30 a.m. Nov. 28 in the first block of South Prince Street. Comment?
