Baton Rouge cop killer Gavin Eugene Long was affiliated with a little-known black nationalist sovereign citizen group known as the Washitaw Nation, filings in Jackson Co., Missouri show. The records, which were first reported by the Kansas City Star, show that in May 2015, Long changed his name to Cosmo Ausar Setepenra and declared himself a sovereign citizen of the United Washitaw de Dugdahmoundyah Mu'ur Nation. Comment?

Harrisonburg, VA The Harrisonburg Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in regards to multiple identity theft and fraud crimes. The suspect, pictured to the side, is described as a black female in her 40's to 50's with black hair who is believed to have entered multiple banks and withdrawn money from the victim's bank account. Comment?

A man was shot by a police officer in Falcon Heights, Minnesota Wednesday evening and the man's girlfriend got it all on tape. The graphic video was posted to Facebook and it starts off with the man, Philando Castile, slumped over in the car seat next to his girlfriend. Comment?

Scammers posing as Internal Revenue Service agents have been hot on the job recently, trying to dupe residents into forking over money that they don't really owe, authorities say. Three calls came in Thursday morning to the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, telling of callers who had demanded money and said that if it wasn't sent county sheriffs would be coming along to make arrests. Comment?

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever illegally killed wolf pups after removing them from a northern Idaho den. The Center for Biological Diversity announced the reward Monday following the killing of the pups that Idaho officials say happened in the middle of May. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is asking anyone with information to call the Citizens Against Poaching Hotline. Comment?
