A Danbury Superior Court judge has ruled in favor of the town of Newtown after a former nurse at Danbury Hospital accused the town's police of enabling a shooting which injured him in 2010, according to the CT Law Tribune . Just after midnight on March 1, 2010, an 85-year-old mentally disturbed Brookfield man entered the Newtown Police Department telling officers he needed help because he was hearing voices, according to reports . An 82-year-old man is out on bond days after he was charged with risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault for two separate incidents. Ronald Hendrie , of Kellogg Street, Brookfield, was arrested on a warrant June 18 and has since posted a $25,000 bond. Comment?

Ronald Hendrie, 82, of Kellogg Street, Brookfield was arrested June 18 and released on a posted bond of $25,000 after being charged with risk of injury to a minor and fourth-degree sexual assault , two separate incidents, the News Times reported. Hendrie hasn't offered a plea, but is scheduled to appear in court July 9, the News Times reported. Comment?
