Underage DUI in Oregon... Help me...
Just last thursday I was convicted of DUI, reckless driving, reckless endangerment, and hit and run. I am 17 years old and the other individual in the car is 18. We hit a telephone pole, and I ended up running. (I still do not remember getting in the car, crashing it, getting out, ect.) most of the situation is very suspisious and I believe my friend may have driven. I am being charged with these crimes and the officer said "there is a witness saying he saw me driving" yet my injuries don't match up with sitting in the driver's seat. Is there any way to fight this, is there any way I can get out of the other charges, is there any way I can hold onto my license, what can I get out of the DMV implied consent hearing, and what can I expect with the whole overall situation?
It doesn't sound as though you have been convicted. It sounds like you were only arrested and are being charged with...
Will my mother go to jail with a 3rd DUI
My mom recently got her third DUI. She got her first one back in 2008 or 2009 I think. She has been going to AA and has been making the steps to get in rehab. My question is, will she go to jail? She is 59 years old and I'm really worried. We don't even know what to plead at this point.
If she pleads guilty she will very likely do some time. However, every case is different, as is every judge and...
Australian citizen involved in car accident. DUII & Rckls End/Drvng charges. Held until Oct 12 trial. How do I get him out now
My Australian friend traveled to Seattle to visit me last week. He rented a car on Wednesday and drove to Portland where he reportedly ran a red light and hit another car. All three people were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries and treated. His charges include DUII, Reckless Endangerment and Assault II. He is being held at a detention center and I can't get ahold of him. It took him 2 days to get to a phone to call me. Assault II carries huge bail. How do I get him out now so he isn't sitting in jail until his trial?
Contact his attorney, to find out whether the judge set bail and for how much. If you don't know who his lawyer is you...
I have two PCS2 charges and two DUIs in bend, I was wondering what the odds are of having my record sealed, and how go about it?
I'm trying to become a martial arts instructor and am worried my record will disqualify me in a background check. Also, is sealed the right way to go about getting through a background check or should I be trying to get my record expunged?
Unfortunately, the DUII's cannot be expunged. Oregon's expungement law does not permit that. However, you may be able...
Does Oregon extradite from Wash. D.C. on a bench warrant for FTA for arraignment in a felony DUI?
I received the DUI two weeks ago in Washington County, Oregon, paid bail, then got on a plane to fly back to Washington D.C. where I live. No property damage or injury resulted from the DUI. I realize I'll lose the bail. I understand the minimum jail time is 13 months, could be up to 5 years - if convicted plus permanent loss of license . I think I'd prefer to walk away from the bail and keep my freedom.
There will be a warrant out for you. If the DUI is a felony, there is a very good chance you will extradited to OR,...
Is tampering with the interlock the same as driving without the interlock?

I urge you to meet in person with a DUII lawyer in your area as soon as possible to discuss this ticket and your...
Facing first dui but wasn't driving vehicle
I went to the bar for a little to drunk so the bouncer had me call my brother to pick me up, which he has someone come drop him off so he could drive him and I to his house. On the way to his house my truck broke down, the battery had shifted and the cable frayed in half so it was unstartable from the point. My brother then had his friend come pick him up and take him back home, called the police, told them he drove the truck to where it was, it broke down. Thinking I wasn't able to get a dui because the truck was unstartable. The cops showed up, while I was in front of the car trying to work on the car, but was there alone. My question is if I get a the bouncer from the bar and my brother to hell in court to prove I wasn't the one driving that night can I beat this DUI?
If you prove you weren't driving and weren't in actual physical control of he vehicle (sitting behind the steering...
