What Portland, Oregon Diversion eligible treatment center do you recommend? It needs to be one that take insurance.
A person I know asked me to help them find a treatment center for them to complete their Oregon diversion program. Do you have any recommendations for programs that take insurance and are honest? They need to be done as soon as they can. A few places that have been mentioned are Astrue and Associates, Lifeworks NW, DePaul, and Addictions NW. Have you heard anything about these? Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated, thanks for your time.
From that list, I have only dealt with DePaul, and can say that they offer a good program AND do a good job providing...

DUI Diversion Termination
My ADA Rights were violated by the officer, diversion, and the court. They did not provide me enough information about my case and no interpreters upon request in advance. I also have a DUI Diversion class that the court may want to terminate because of my medical use of marijuana. I only just moved to Oregon a month before I got my DUI and my health insurance of OhP did not kick in until I started my diversion class and I was wait listed for a primary doctor. Hence the hold on my check up health needs for medical reasons. I don't have a recent record because of this I am not allowed to use marijuana as part of diversion. But, I need it because no doctor will see me until it's open. And I finally got a primary doctor the day before my court date. This April 18th I'll see a primary doctor for the first time and the 19th I have a court for absietnece use. Which is marijurana because I couldn't have any medicine due to not having a doctor for many years.
You need to consult criminal defense attorney for further clarity. Your question has been misclassified as a medical...
Will I be able to get an extension on my Duii diversion for 34 days?
By the time my one year diversion period ends I will have all of the diversion requirements completed except for my twelfth and last diversion class and a remaining 30 days of sobriety to complete my "90 days of sobriety". I was on track to get it done on time but left town for a week due to a death in the family and failed to maintain in person contact with my treatment provider during that week. My counselor knew I was leaving town but there was miscommunication between us leading me to believe that the weekly contact could be sufficed over the phone. This was incorrect and it restarted my "90 days". I will be asking the court for a 34 day extension and am filing the extension petition within the last 30 days of my diversion period. I have paid all fees to court and treatment provider to date. What do you think my chances of getting this extension are?
You're allowed one extension of the diversion year. You have to petition the court for the extension BEFORE the...
What happens when I don't complete diversion for convicted MIP?
I currently reside in Coos county Oregon and a few months ago about 12 days before I turned 18 I got an MIP of Marijuana <1oz. I was 18 for about 3 weeks before I got a court date. When i went in the judge immediately said that if i plead guilty then they'd give me counseling, that I would have 4 months to complete it and come back to court, and if I came back without it completed, there would be a $650 fine. But now it's almost a month later and I thought i read all the papers but didn't catch that I had 3 days to schedule my evaluation. I also have a previous MIP which cost my license for a year but got it back with BREAKERS in 3 months. But this time there was no suspension and no suspension was mentioned if I didn't complete the counseling. Is there anything i can Do? And if not, will it only be the fine when I go back to court, or is it likely they will add on more penalties or more specifically pull my license again?? I'm really trying to get straightened out, and have gotten a job and my own place since court to prove that. And I am also clean and will continue to stay that way. I just can't afford to lose My license, and in turn my job, now that I have finally started life.
Conviction comes with license suspension, so avoid conviction. Ideally, that would mean hiring a lawyer to contact the...
How long does the statue of limitations run on traffic tickets or dui's in Mississippi.
A friend received a notice from the courts of Mississippi to pay in full on the tickets form 27 yrs ago, or they would issue a warrant. He would like to know if they are any statue of limitations on the tickets?
Your friend would need to consult with an attorney who practices in Mississippi about that. I don't know why you posted...
My wife passed interlock device, drank coffee, blew and failed!! Now facing losing license! HELP!! Have Proof Not Guilty!
My wife received a DUI last year, she went through all the classes, diversion, graduated, paid all the fines and court fees. She gets the interlock device out this August!! We wanted to go to the library in Hillsboro Oregon around 4pm on Sunday. She entered the vehicle, blew into the device, passed and drove us to Plaid Pantry only 5 minutes down the road where she bought a Starbucks Latte in the glass jar. She took a few big sips of it and proceeded to blow into the device. It gave a "Warning" for no reason. She blew again and got another "Warning". Since we are married and the vehicle is legally in my name as well I said to "Hop out I will drive". I blew into the device and the car started without any issues and drove to the library. We just received court paperwork stating she blew a ".032" and failed the "Rules of Diversion" and now they want to revoke her license for 1 year without any permission to drive to work. We have the log of blow and passes with pictures from the interlock company, we also have bank paperwork to prove where we were and what we bought only 5-10 minutes from when she first blew and passed. We also have the library receipt to back our case. WHAT DO WE DO!
You nee to hire a lawyer who understands IID issues. The latte may have had trace amounts of alcohol from flavorings.
