What are the possible outcomes of this? How can I avoid habitual status/loss of license/felony? I'm not bad, just had a bad year
So the day I got a letter frm NH DMV saying I lost my license due to an unpaid ticket, I got pulled over- from the mailbox! And got driving while suspended. Few months later a dwi,(shouldve fought it) but I'm a young single mom, just me n my young child, I worked in MA and did insulation, the only way I could make ends meet$. Lost my license for Dwi & couldn't get rides to work, so I got pulled over and again arrested for driving under suspension. I've done everything to get my license back for the Dwi but now I have court for the last driving. Now I walk 3miles to work for minimum wage, I am struggling. How can I convince the court I am in hardship and can't have any of what would come of this? I need a license to support my son. I do all I can, but this will ruin me.
You need to hire an attorney or request the services of the public defender. It appears you have had a very bad year...
Can I get a hardship license for a 2nd offense DUI(5 years after 1st)?
I was convicted of a 2nd DUI offense(5 years after 1st DUI) in October 2014. I have completed all required programs and paid all fines. Suspension was for 3 years. I have excellent referrals from the alcohol counselor, detectives, and other law enforcement officials I know. I was told by NH DMV that I must provide court documents showing eligibility for a hardship license. At the time of sentencing, there was no hardship license in effect, but as of January 2016, there is now. Is there any possibility of getting a hardship license granted now? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
NH has a new law allowing for limited driving privileges, however it is only available to people convicted of a 1st offense.
Chances of winning dmv hearing and getting case dismissed
I crashed my car. No one saw but cops were called. I got arrested for dui underage and when we got back to the station I signed the form saying I comply with giving a breath test on the intoxilizer 5000. The officer seemed New and when I took the test it came up invalid or error, 4 individual times. i was later(about an hour) asked to take it again and I refused seeing as I had already given them four chances so they never were able to get an actual bac number. They still put refusal on my paper. What are the chances of winning the dmv hearing along with going to trial?
I think your chances of prevailing at the ALS hearing are good. And there's a good chance the breath test will not be...

Traveling to Canada while having DUI on record
Hi...can somebody let me know for how long I won't be able to travel to Canada due to my DUI conviction? I know there are ways to file for entry with Canadian embassy, but don't have a strong reason other than going there for vacation.
Unless you are not permitted to leave the country because of a probation condition, I don't see that there would be a...
What are the chances of getting my DWI reduced to a violation?
In 2014 I accepted a plea for a DWI first offense. The circumstances are as follows: I was found in a parked car in the winter with the engine running, having taken pills and alcohol as part of a suicide attempt. I used my car in order to avoid doing it at the house. The car was carefully prepared to minimize mess for first responders, and there was never any evidence that I moved the car while intoxicated (and I didn't). I used alcohol to accelerate the pills as recommended in a suicide manual, "Final Exit". The suicide attempt occurred after years of severe mental and emotional abuse. I chose a remote area so children wouldn't find the body. Due to the spike in alcohol level from the suicide method, my BAC was measured at .18. I was in intensive care for a while. (continued below)
A reduction to a violation is allowed if all of the procedures that were required of you in the plea are adhered to....
