I was not read the Implied Consent Form and when my attorney requested in station tapes "they" claimed they had been taped over, therefore no proof of their negligence.
Not all departments record at precinct (CC only) and those that do rarely have sound. If the police did not comply...

The county prosecutor sent me a letter acknowledging police misconduct that may have affected my DUI. Do I hire a lawyer now?
I was arrested for drunk driving in Ocean County, NJ in December of 2013. I took a breath test when I was arrested. I pleaded guilty to the charge in January of 2014. My license was suspended for 7 months. I was fined. I had to attend classes. I had to have a interlock device in my car for 19 months. I complied with everything that was asked of me. I served out my suspension. I paid all the fines, fees and surcharges. My license was restored in August of 2014. In August of 2015, the interlock restriction was removed from my license. My license is currently valid. Today I received a letter in the mail from the Ocean County Prosecutor. In the letter, the Prosecutor informed me that a New Jersey State Trooper that was in charge of inspecting breathalyzer units had falsely certified various machines without following proper protocols. The letter told me that the NJ Supreme Court has assigned a retired judge to hold a hearing to determine what type of relief, if any, should be afforded to people like myself who might have been affected by the Trooper's misconduct. In the letter, the Prosecutor says that I should hire a lawyer now if I feel that I am in need of "emergent" relief.
I would hire an attorney to pursue the refunding of fines, penalties and surcharges that you have paid following your...
