Hancock County prosecuting attorney Olen Anderson faces prosecution on misdemeanors after his arrest during Saturday's football game at Ole Miss. The Ole Miss University Police and Campus Security Office website shows his arrest came in response to incidents at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium about 3:51 p.m. Deputies with the Lafayette Sheriff's Office were assisting with law enforcement on game day and detained Anderson, a campus police records employee said. With a name like the Blind Tiger, a group of robbers may have thought it would be easy to steal nearly $4,000 worth of merchandise Tuesday evening; however, while the Blind Tiger was sleeping, security cameras were providing a watchful eye. Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike De Nardo said Friday that BPD arrested one man and has identified another in this week's burglary of the restaurant/nightclub. Comment?

The search for an armed robber who has been on the run since Thursday has ended, Bay St. Louis police said. Chief Mike De Nardo said an investigation into the Thursday night robbery of Rosetti's Liquor Barrel led officers to Kelly Seale, 36, and detectives were able to quickly get a confession. Comment?

Police in Tupelo last week arrested a social worker from the Mississippi Department of Health who allegedly kidnapped two Hancock County teens, brought them to Tupelo, and sexually molested them. Multiple media outlets in the state reported Monday that Georgia Sasso, 29, was arrested and charged with two counts of kidnapping and sexual assault. 4 comments

An armed man robbed Rosetti's Liquor Barrell in Bay St. Louis Thursday evening, the second such robbery in Hancock County in the past five days. Bay St. Louis Police Chief Mike De Nardo said Friday that BPD received a report of a robbery at Rosetti's at about 9 p.m. Thursday. Comment?
