Dui in the state of wa with a bac of .075?
A friend of mine blew three times with a .065 a 0.70 then a 0.75 but she was still cited arrested and car impounded. Is the legal limit not .080?
Such a common question. There are TWO ways to get an alcohol related DUI in Washington. 1) Be above .08 within...
My son was involved in an alcohol related car accident this past Sunday. I need to know what comes next....
He was the only one involved. No injury or damage to anyone or thing other than himself and his vehicle. He is 16 years old and alcohol level was .283 which I know is extremely high. He has never ever been involved in any bad behavior, he is a great student and athlete. I need to know what my options are to protect his future as I know this is a very serious offence. We live in the state of Washington which is where the accidient happened but he also lives part time with his father in Oregon which is where he and the vehicle were liseanced. Please help....
It is important to contact an attorney immediately to discuss your case. Without the facts of the case it is hard to...
I was pulled over for drunk driving the other night and I blew a .088. The cop wrote on my ticket thing that the charge was for minor operating a vehicle after alcohol consumption. When he asked if i had been drinking I was honest and told him yes. I was really respectful to the cop and didnt fight anything. What could be the penalties? I looked it up but I couldnt find anything stating the consequences for a person charged with a DUI who is under the age of 18. Also, this is my first time ever dealing with police, so I have no previous record.
I don't practice in Washington, but more than likely you will get a summons to appear in juvenile court. In theory they...
Reducing a Minor DUI??
I got a Minor DUI about a month ago, and I'm trying to get it reduced to an MIP and also get a diversion. This is the first time I have ever gotten in trouble with the law. The prosecuting attorney offered to reduce it to negligent driving, and 5 days work crew with some fines. The thing is, negligent driving stays on my record and I'm only 17 so I can't do work crew, so I would have to go to jail for at least one day, which I'm trying to avoid. I cannot afford a lawyer but I don't qualify for a court appointed one. I did have a consult with a lawyer though, but I still have some questions. Since I am trying to plea the charges down myself, how would I go about trying to do this? More specifically, what kind of things could I present to the prosecuting attorney or the judge, to prove that I'm a good kid and that I'm not going to do this again, that could help me plea it down?
If there are no proof problems in the case, a Neg2 is not a bad deal. You can do a DUI victim's panel and/or do a CD...
I had just gotten a DWS 3rd degree, just got off probation of three years for a POS charge, Class B Felony. What am I looking at
I gotten a DUI in 2009, and a couple minor traffic stuff. I just needed to know what to do or say. I always get taken advantage of through lawyers, so im scared to get one.
What are you looking at? First, see if there are any defenses to the charge that can get it dismissed. That will...
I blew a .006 and got a 12 hr suspense dui.. I got a dui over a year ago will I get my license taken away?
I have a new drivers license in vancouver. I'm 22 years old... What's going to happen?
A 0.006% Are you sure? I don't think breath machines measure down to the thousandth of one percent.
If a person is in the hospital for drunk driving and is detained because of a warrant has been issued to draw blood.
If a person is in the hospital for drunk driving and is detained because of a warrant has been issued to draw blood. Is the warrant valid if the Judge who signed the warrant signed the wrong date. Accident happened in June -- judge signed and dated May. Would that fall under the fruit of the poisonous tree and invalidate the warrant, throwing out the blood evidence at trial?
Scrivener's errors generally do not result in an entire warrant being thrown out of the surrounding circumstances of he...
