Got pulled over for swerving cop thought I was having a seizure or stoke sent me to hospital via ambulance turned out to be my medications reacting together they did a blood test there and anxiety meds and pain killers don't mix. i was arrested for dui for blowing .06 on breath test, which I know is bellow legal limit. i was not asked to take blood or urine test. I was arrested and transported to jail, charged with ovi, and my car was impounded. I also paid bond, tow fees, and never got my funds returned. I went to court and the judge and lawyer were appalled I was at court and dismissed the case immediately. The lawyer told me to contact an attorney that I was definitely wrongfully arrested. This happened in the summer of 2009, is it too late to take action or is this still possible? I would have tried to take action sooner, but I was incarcerated on unrelated charges from October 2010 to April 2011. I called every lawyer in my county before this and they were reluctant case because of the local police.
I am not an ohio attorney but my read of 2305.11 is that you had one year to bring this action. Consult an ohio...

Does the arrest date or conviction date determine the amount of time between DUI convictions. Asked 23 minutes ago - Springfield, OH DUI My last DUI was in Ohio on June 14, 2004. My current one happened on May 25th, 2014 and my first court date is July 22, 2014. My current case is in Maine where I believe ten years is the cut-off for considering past convictions during sentencing. So whether it is the arrest date or conviction date could make a big difference in what happens to me.
Time goes from the date of CONVICTION on the first offense until the date of the OFFENSE for the new one. So the two...
