Arlington Heights police say this man used a credit card stolen from a locker at XSport Fitness on Golf Road to purchase a PS4 gaming bundle and batteries at the Wal-Mart on Rand Road in Palatine. One theft occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Dec. 8 at the gym on Golf Road. Comment?

Friday Jan. 8 - Officers stopped Michal Kurcharski, 28, from Arlington Heights, after he was pulled over for a traffic violation and police discovered his driver's license and plates were suspended. Kurcharski was arrested, processed and released after posting $3,000 bond. Comment?

A resident who helped Arlington Heights police catch a suspect charged with sexually assaulting a 97-year-old woman in her home last summer recently received a $700 award. The award, approved by the Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers Board, stems from a crime that happened on Aug. 20, when someone broke into an elderly woman's home in the area of Central Road and Dwyer Avenue through an unsecured window and sexually assaulted her.
