The Glenview Journal acquired unredacted court documents showing allegations that Jon July 12 Jose Quinteros, 27, Arlington Heights "secretly confined" a female victim at a Public Storage business in the 3300 block of Lake Street in Glenview, where he committed a sexual assault causing bodily harm before stealing a smartphone. However, a police report described by the Journal as "so heavily redacted, very little of the narrative made sense" listed an address for the location as the 1700 block of Greenwood Road, and said an apartment building there was secured by police the day of the alleged incident. Comment?

A Rolling Meadows man, on probation for a sexual offense, was ordered held without bail by Cook County Judge Joseph Cataldo Thursday after being charged with attempting to break into an Arlington Heights gas station. Robert Wilson, 47, was arrested early Thursday after police found him crouching behind a closed Marathon Gas station in the 1700 block of Central Avenue, said Cook County assistant state's attorney David Shin. Arlington Heights police are investigating a report of a robbery Tuesday in which a patron at the Red Roof Inn was assaulted. According to police reports, a man entered an open motel room between 7:20 and 7:30 a.m. in the hotel at 22 W. Algonquin Road, hit a victim on the head and demanded money. Comment?

A 26-year-old Arlington Heights man is accused of detaining and raping a woman in Glenview and stealing her cellphone, according to Cook County Circuit Court records. Jose R. Quinteros, 26, of the 2300 block of Goebbert Road, was charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated criminal sexual assault and robbery, Glenview police said Friday. Comment?

On July 29 at 3:50 p.m., Bryan Abens, 28, Northbrook was arrested at the Glenview police station and charged with felony retail theft. On July 27 at 2:50 p.m., Jose Quinteros, 26, Arlington Heights was arrested in the 2200 block of East Oakton Street in Arlington Heights and charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, and Robbery.
