Missouri DUI Laws vs Oklahoma DUI Laws
OK has a APC (Actual Physical Control) law, Missouri does not. Can MO up the charge to a Driving while intoxicated and suspend my license? License from MO, charge picked up in OK. I was not driving at the time of arrest
You need to move this question from OK to MO.
What happens if I move to a different state before receiving a DUI in my current state?
I got in a one car wreck while under the influence of alcohol. They took a blood sample and I assume it will come back over the legal limit. A week after I was released from the hospital, I got offered a job in Colorado. Now, I understand getting the blood test results takes some time, so what happens if I move before these results come back? I'm not trying to avoid dealing with the DUI, I'm just worried there may be some problems when I receive a DUI but have already moved to a different state.
Your best bet is to retain an attorney prior to moving. Many people hire attorneys during a pending investigation....
Need attorney for dui.
Have previous convictions on dui but have 3to4yrs span between dui. But this case I I i iwasn't driving in passenger seat on xanex bought of street. Person had accident driving and ran so me in passenger seat got dui cause beer was splashed every where. Being on xanex had me severely missed up. But having alcohol odor now on me police assumed dui. Had to resist alcohol tests cause of zanex had me missed up.
I am not sure what you are asking. If you are looking for a lawyer to defend you in your DUI case, plenty of criminal...
What to do if you were denied medical attention in jail
arrested for dui and have been in jail for almost 24 hours but received little to none medical attention, and are experiencing severe head pain from the car accident. What do I do? Need medical attention ASAP. They won't give it.
Make bail and then go to the doctor. Hire counsel to assist with obtaining medical treatment.
Upon being notified via the interstate compact of an out of state DUI conviction, will my OK license be revoked or suspended?...
This is my first DUI and I blew a .10. I keep reading conflicting laws about whether it will be suspended or revoked and as I am aware of the differences, this technicality may make a difference in my particular situation. Also, will the effective date coincide with the date of the CO DMV hearing or criminal case... or will it be prolonged to whenever OK finds out/notifies me? I got the DUI in CO and received CO's revocation notice from the DMV hearing on 1/30. On that note, am I just not allowed to drive in CO right now until OK notifies me of revocation/suspension? Or if I get pulled over/random plate check, will the police see that my privelages have been revoked even before I am notified by OK? Will hire attorney who is sure of these things as my detail oriented mind is going insane.
I am not licensed in OK or CO, but the answer is suspension if CO suspends it; revoked if CO revokes it. OK will do so...
I had an IL license while I got a DUI in CO and was told by an attorney to get a DL in another state so I obtained an OK DL
CO has me revoked for 9 months which I understand OK will place a suspension for the same but IL will place a hold for 1 year. Will this effect my ability to reinstate my OK DL after 9 months? In other words, will OK deny my reinstatement until the IL hold has been lifted? Also, I will be staying with my mom in WI to wait out my suspension... will I be allowed to get an occupational license or drive with an interlock from OK while I'm staying in WI to work in WI before the 9 months? This is my first DUI and I blew a .10.
You need to speak to a traffic attorney in the State where you need to obtain driving privileges. The privilege to...
I was arrested 12/6/14 for DUI with an IL license and advised by an attorney that I could still get a license in OK before...
the DMV hearing on 1/30/15. I obtained the OK license on 1/2/15 and my IL license was later revoked on 1/30/15. Did I commit a crime by obtaining this license? Not knowing the outcome of the what the DMV hearing would be I felt that this was okay, but will the OK DMV look at it this way? Or can they look at the arrest date as the date I was ineligible of obtaining the license?
Because this question involves local law and I'm not licensed to practice in your jurisdiction let me just address the...
