Can i avoid jail time on a 2nd dui and plea bargain for house arrest
One dui in 2014 and second 2017 Bac 1.8% I am an active father and work full time and really can't afford jail time.
You are currently facing a mandatory 20 days in jail if convicted. Your charge is a high tier second in six years DUI/...
Can I travel back to my country for ever after I graduated While I have 2nd time DUI?
I got the 2nd time Dui in Kent, Ohio, and I have done many things for the court. I still need to do 10 days in jail to finish this case. My court on January, 17 2016, but I graduated and I want to go back home before the court date. Do I have any problem, I will never back to the USA. I will receive my major transcript by Fedex.
If you do not attend your court hearing in the United States a warrant for your arrest will issue. It is extremely...
I am on probation for DUI in Indiana until 3/17. I was arrested for DV and felonious assault in Ohio where I live now.....
Should or am I obligated tell my current attorney I'm on misdemeanor probation in Indiana ? ( I was allowed to move here in August with no one following me here) I use Anytraxx phone system to check in. Current charges came from me being off bipolar meds( not by choice). My husband called local EMS not 911 to get me to PSYCH ER as I was psychotic and erratic. In a nutshell, 5 days later after psychiatric stay and back on my meds- I was arrested in my home. The officer pressured us both into signing DV complaints but we wouldn't. My husband was trying to keep us safe and I was out of my mind. ?- will I have to go back to jail in Indiana because I'm on probation there? I haven't told my new attorney yet. I'm so afraid. I don't understand how all of this new police business even happened. No injuries occurred, no one accused the other. I have no criminal record. Only DUI.
A normal condition of probation is that you notify your probation officer of any contact whatsoever with law-...
I would like to obtain driving privileges even though I have a lifetime suspension. Is this possible?
In 2007, i was in a fatal car accident. I had meth in my system. I was convicted of aggravated vehicular homicide and sentenced to 8 years mandatory in Feb. of 2008. I was released on my 80% due to outstanding behavior. I have maintained employment, i have completed 2 years of probation successfully (still currently under supervision), I have custody of my child, and the list of positives goes on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have an Ohio dl but got a dui in P.A. Is my suspension only for P.A. or will it hold up in Ohio as well?
I refused the blood chemical test so the suspension is automatic for a year.
A suspension in one state usually acts a suspension in any other state.
Question about warrants. Might just be being paranoid.
Over two years ago, I was convicted of an OVUAC and received a fine to pay and mandatory 72 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation program. A few months later, I paid the fine in full, and did my mandatory program. When I completed the program, which was the last thing I needed to fulfill with the courts (not fulfilled requirements for DMV at this point), I was told the completion certificate would be sent to my courthouse, and I had my own copy. I mailed a copy to my attorney, as I was told so he could show the judge I completed as well, and let him know I sent it to him. I assumed I was done with the courts, as they took the block off my license when my suspension ended and I got a new license and everything fine, but I was concerned because I never went back to the court and made sure everything was all good. No one ever contacted me about it, not even my lawyer, and it's been two years. I have been pulled over twice in this time for minor infractions where they took my license and, I assume, checked for warrants, and both times I got off with a warning. One was a cop in a neighboring city, and one was a state highway patrolmen. I checked my clerk of courts website and nothing.
I am not certain that I see a question here. The process you describe by which the Court is notified sounds to be...
ALS/OVI Officer did not check box stating "placed under administrative license suspension"
I was arrested for OVI on 4/1/16. The officer took me back to police station and asked me to submit to a breathalyzer. I refused to submit, and told officer that I would agree to a blood test, but not a breathalyzer because I did not trust the results of the machine. The officer took me to the hospital and had a blood draw taken. After the blood draw, the officer issued me "BMV 2255 Administrative license suspension". At the initial appearance I appealed the ALS because the officer didn't check the box that says "placed under administrative license suspension". The Judge overruled the appeal, and the ALS in now in place. My question is if there is any case law that says the "box must be checked" in order for ALS to be in place. Is the receipt of the citation considered "under suspension" no matter what boxes were checked? I am working with an attorney who is not experienced in OVI and I am trying to help as much as I can. Thanks for any answers.
