Wharton woman arrested for operating meth lab

Wyandot County Sheriff Michael R. Hetzel reports that Defiance Conley, of Wharton, was taken to the Wyandot County Jail after the arrest, where she is being held on probation violation and drug charges.

2 hurt in accident at Carey plant

Two people were hurt in an accident at the Andersons Mineral Processing plant near Carey at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday, the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office said.

Woman killed in U.S. 23 accident

A Bucyrus woman was killed Wednesday evening on U.S. 23 near Upper Sandusky when she was struck by a pickup truck while attempting to get something out of the trunk of her vehicle.

Chamber of commerce seeks funds

Contributions are more than $2,000 shy of the typical $8,000 raised for the Wyandot County community fireworks display, to be held July 3 at dark, according to a message from the Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce.
