Accused killer denied bond again

Wow! This is a surprise. Usually here in Dalton, it seems that the murderers and child molestors get out on bond in no time. Maybe someone of higher authority is actually doing their job this time.

Accused child molesters maybe, but not accused murderers.

Bull crap. Do you remember hearing about that guy who killed his wife's friend and then assaulted her with a machete? Do you know how much time he got? 6 years. Just because he was drunk. This justice system in Georgia is just screwed up.

I did not hear about that in Dalton. I remember hearing something like that happening in Chattanooga. He did that in front of his kid. I agree the justice system is screwed up. My brother is in prison for murder and he was not let out on bond or was even offered a bond. Trust me, for the past 5 years of dealing with the courts, I keep up with Dalton and Whitfield County and how people are treated fairly and unfairly. My brother got a sentence of life plus 20 years and a person in Chattanooga did almost the similar crime and got 1 year house arrest. He was the son of a judge. You call that justice?

No, I don't call that justice at all. I tell you what else I don't call justice. When a child molestor and a murderer get less time than a drug dealer. Or when a 17 year old who sleeps with a 15-year-old is considered a sex offender and they charge him with child molestation. That's just plain stupid. Even our DA says that our sex offender laws are confusing.

Oh yeah, maybe that was in Chattanooga. I forgot. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
