Minot bike path to be closed for 24 hours

The Ward County Bike Path located along Ward County Highway 15 will be fog sealed at some point Monday through Friday. Fog sealing involves adding a layer of fresh oil to the bike path.

If commissioners don't make some of the departmental cuts that were discussed on Thursday, they would have to levy about $5 million to $6 million more in taxes next year, even though property tax valuations have also gone up about 13.45 percent this year, said Ward County Auditor Devra Smestad.

Car accident west of Minot injures three
