Through the years, journalists across the country and in Wisconsin have been hauled into court time and again in efforts to get them to reveal confidential sources.

Police have arrested five people in connection with a string of armed robberies in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, including five incidents in Walworth County.

Jose A. Romero-Oran, 27, of 127 A Elmhurst Court, Williams Bay, appeared in Walworth County court Tuesday.

A Williams Bay woman who sustained severe internal injuries in a Tuesday crash in Walworth Township is stable and continues to recuperate, hospital officials said Thursday.

Interstate 43 was shut down Wednesday at Highway 20 in Walworth County due to an accident and highway buckle over both northbound lanes.
